In addition to the Olympians, approximately forty athletes from Dukla Prague and nine representatives defending the colors of USK Prague can prepare in the hall.
Specifically, it concerns shot putter Tomáš Staňek and his sparring partners the Forejt brothers, runners Lada Vondrová, Tereza Petržilková and Martina Hoffmanová, and all-rounders Adam Sebastian Helcelet, Dorota Skřivanová and Jiří Sýkora.
The agreement is valid from Tuesday, the athletes will start training on Wednesday morning.
At the same time, the meeting participants agreed on the distribution of costs for the operation of the hall, the Czech Athletic Association will contribute financially.
“We had a proposal from head coach Pavel Sluka. We have agreed on nine names, we will deal with the tenth in a different way. For the time being, the Czech Athletics Association has taken over the financial obligations so that we do not extend the loan,” said ČAS chairman Libor Varhaník.

The goal is the cooperation of departmental centers
However, the agreement is only valid for the current indoor season, it is not yet clear how the cooperation will continue. The chairman of the National Sports Agency, Ondřej Šebek, emphasized that he pays increased attention to the financing and sponsoring of departmental sports centers.
“In the spring, we have to adjust the principles of operation of the departmental centers. I will try to have a written agreement. So that athletes can use the maximum benefits that the centers offer, while respecting the rules and specifics of the center,” said Šebek.
The Otakar Jandery Hall and the adjacent complex is an important training center for athletes for winter preparation, mainly because of its world-class parameters. Koulař Staněk mentioned, for example, the lighting circle, the impact area, or high ceilings.
