Třebíč performed a famous finish, while Dukla, on the other hand, failed to shoot at Zlín

Sugar Mizzy January 29, 2023

A bad start and an even worse end. This is how the Dukla Jihlava hockey players’ Saturday match on the ice of extraleague Zlín looked like last year. From the fourth minute, the guests played, Kratochvíl opened the score of the match – 1:0

Jihlava managed to equalize in the middle of the match. Dundáček found the escaping Skořep, who scored unstoppably with a shot just under the lid.

Unfortunately, the joy of the visiting team did not last even a whole minute. Kratochvíl found a completely free Sedlák in the defensive zone, who buried the puck with his glove and unguarded gave the home team the lead – 2:1.

No understatement! Pelhřimova’s footballers will again be tested by quality opponents, as well as cross-country women

The final decision was made in the final ten minutes. First, Mráz took advantage of the visitors’ defense and increased the difference to two goals.

Three minutes later, Mrázek spun from behind the goal, initially slipped between two opponents, even though he might have wanted to finish himself, finally found Honejsk, who then just tapped the puck into the net – 4:1

Horácké Slavie Třebíč hockey players behaved completely differently on Saturday. More than half of the playing time was waiting for the opening shot of her match on the Frýdek-Místek ice.

The home team had a power play, and Lyszczarcyk burned through everything that stood in his way – 1:0. Ten minutes before the end, the home team escaped with a quick break and Geidl with a difference of two goals.

It seemed to be decided, but then the home bench made two bad substitutions in a few seconds and Třebíč got a five-on-three power play. Bořuta took advantage of this after only ten seconds and thus started a spectacular turnaround – 2:1.

Barely fifteen seconds passed and it was tied. With the continued numerical advantage, Bořuta again beat the home goalkeeper from the blue.

The home side won the preliminary match between FC Vysočina Jihlava and FK Viktoria Žižkov 3:0.

The match was headed for extra time, but in the last minute of regular time, Vysočina struck twice. Moments after the start of the game, Dočekal ran away and the goalkeeper Švančar was not covered by the puck, which got behind the goal line – 2:3.

The home team, quite understandably, played without a goalkeeper. However, he paid for it six seconds before the third siren. Malý ran away from the defense of Frýdek-Místek and into the empty goal definitively decided – 2:4.

In the table, Třebíč thus consolidated the leading position, Jihlava is eleventh.

Hockey players in the first league don’t get much rest. After a one-day break, the matches of the 43rd round await them on Monday. Unlike on Saturday, the clubs from Vysočina will go out on the ice in front of their fans, starting at 5.30 p.m.

Horácká Slavia Třebíč will defend the position of the leader of the table against Kolín, which is fighting for the playoffs. Jihlavská Dukla will want to fulfill the role of a clear favorite against the last Šumperk.
