Slavia goes ahead of Pilsen. Vrba took a point during the spicy premiere
With a 2:1 win in Plzeň on Saturday, Hradec served up an unexpected chance for the sewn-up team. Slavia fulfilled the role of favorite in Eden and beat Jablonec. Right after the start of spring, he has one point more than Viktoria.
Prague won the sixth round in a row and for the first time since September they got to the top of the table by a point ahead of Pilsen. The North Bohemians lost six of the last seven rounds and did not score away in the league for the fourth time in a row. They continue to occupy the first place in the play-off.
Václav Jurečka started the match with a goal, Vladimir Jovovič equalized in the long setting of the opening act and it seemed that the favorite would have problems. But the “Stitched” decided between the 65th and 85th minute, when substitutes Mick van Buren, Ondřej Lingr and twice another incoming player from the bench, Matěj Jurásek, scored.
Vršovičtí have not lost in the league with Jablonec in the eleventh game in a row (of which 10 victories). They beat him at home in the top flight for the sixth time in a row, and in the last five duels with a total score of 22:1.
Before kick-off, Slavia presented Eden with a new reinforcement from Norway, midfielder Zafeiris. She also said goodbye to goalkeeper Kovář, who after the end of his career will act as the manager of the A-team.
Zlín did not start well during coach Pavel Vrba’s competitive debut with Ostrava. Jiří Klím gave the visitors the lead in the 41st minute, but Libor Kozák equalized after the change of sides. The Zlín team broke a streak of four defeats in the top competition, but still remain penultimate in the table. Vrba, who led Baník until mid-October, did not start his engagement with “Shoemakers” with a victory. Ostrava have yet to win away from home in this league and are tenth.
Favored Liberec sent winter reinforcement Victor Olatunji into the lead against Pardubice in the 40th minute, but two minutes after the break the visitors equalized thanks to an own goal by the home team’s Dominik Plechaté.
The last Pardubice in the league drew 1:1 for the second time in a row and scored for the third time in the last four rounds. Liberec won only one of the last four rounds and is ninth.
After a 3:1 win in August, Zbrojovka also scored against Mladá Boleslav in the second match of the season. It’s eleven o’clock. Mladá Boleslav did not lose for the third time in a row and holds the eighth position.
