Miklós Szánthó: The Prime Minister of Hungary is the only advocate of peace
Thousands of Ukrainians die every day due to Putin’s aggression, the stupid EU sanctions and the verbal vandalism of Zelenskiy, the mayor of Dnipro.
“The Ukrainian mayor of Dnipro in unqualified words belonged to the Hungarians. Postmodernism is characterized by hypocrisy: it is peculiar that we think that our age is the most advanced age ever in all respects – morally at best – then communication becomes endlessly primitive.
Of course, part of the hypocrisy is that the there is no place for pure speech: and whether you like it or not, Ukraine is truly a no-man’s land (the meaning of the country’s name is ‘border region’) – or at least it may soon become so. It is not only primitive, but also extremely undignified, that premeditated artificial hysteria breaks out precisely when someone – for example, the Hungarian Prime Minister – talks about the terrible consequences of war and therefore urges peace.
Every day, thousands of Ukrainian children, fathers, and husbands die because of Putin’s vandal aggression, the stupid future reactions and sanctions – and yes, the verbal vandalism of Zelenskiy, the mayor of Dnipro (and others like him). Hundreds of thousands and millions of mothers, wives, sons and daughters mourn these dead. Their only hope is peace – and increasingly it seems that the Prime Minister of Hungary is the only advocate for this in the tsunami of madness engulfing Europe.”
