Silence in the room, it begins. In order to report the lack of material and human resources to the Judicial Court of Toulousebar attorneys are holding a mock trial titled “Attempted Murder of Justice” on Wednesday, February 8 at 7 p.m.

This action is implemented in the continuity of the motion adopted on January 17 speak Toulouse Bar gathered in general assembly. They worry about the degraded situation in which justice is served today in the Pink City and requiring more human and material resources for the Toulouse Judicial Court.

Alert on the degraded functioning of justice in Toulouse

” Witnesses will come to the bar to present, in a concrete way, the consequences of this situation on the activity of the Court and for litigants: minutes of hearings, prioritization of certain disputes, renewal of measures without a hearing, unreasonable delays to seize the Judge for family affairs…”, says the Toulouse Bar.

With the organization of this mock trial, he wishes to “alert the public authorities on the degraded functioning of the Judicial Court of Toulouse and on the urgency of providing it with sufficient numbers of magistrates, clerks and court staff”. The bar wants to be able to cope with the exponential growth in the number of inhabitants of the Toulouse region, but also to allow the replacement of absent magistrates, clerks and court staff.
