Reception crisis: what did Belgium do with the 200 million euros paid by the Commission?
The League of Human Rights wondered about the way our country spends European money. State Secretary Nicole de Moor (CD&V) responds.

La Human Rights League questioned on social networks about European money intended to help our country deal with the reception crisis. As a reminder, for more than a year, about 3,000 people, almost exclusively single men from Afghanistan, Burundi, Syria or Palestine, have been left on the streets for lack of space in the Fedasil reception network.
On Facebook, the League published a letter from the European Commission, in response to a complaint filed in November for “non-respect of the rule of law by Belgium in the context of the non-reception of people requesting international protection. We can read that DG Migration has released 204 million euros “to help Belgium quickly find solutions to the shortage of reception capacities. »
