In the PAP released on Tuesday Caritas Poland It has been reported that in response to the increasing role of supplying civilians to intensify missile attacks on the Ukraine server, such as power plants and transmission grids, 18 Points of Hope are planned to be established in cities. They benefit from residents Odessa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kremenchuk and Konotop.

Needy Ukrainians receive help and protection from darkness and cold. Therefore, water, electricity, hot drinks, internet access, a place to rest, a first aid kit and space for mothers with children. There will also be a possibility to heat meals in each.
– The Ukrainians are asking for help so that they can stay in the winter. We take into account that energy assistance will be needed throughout the year – said the director of Caritas Polska, Fr. Dr. Marcin Iżycki.
First five points Caritas launched at the beginning of January in Kiev, Zhytomyr, Vinnitsa, Kharkiv and Khmelnitsky.
In addition, a piece of temporary points in tents was launched, where Ukrainians can warm up, regardless of help. Each of them will result in about 30-40 people.

For the purposes of Nadzieja, Caritas has prepared, among others, electric generators, heaters, “Starlink” Internet receivers, a source of charging stations, thermopots, over 7,000 folding children, first aid kits, blankets, coloring books, crayons and other items for children’s space. Tents, flashlights and blankets excluded from the Government Agency of Strategic Reserves. Other materials were purchased by Caritas with the money obtained from donors.
So far, Caritas has transferred material aid worth PLN 200 million to Ukraine.
