Cooperation between Poland and the allied solidarity association – Ministry of National Defence
On Thursday, February 2. The head of the Ministry of National Defense paid a visit to Zagreb, where he met with the Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković and the Minister of Defense Mario Banožić.

The head of the Ministry of National Defense should call for help at the national and national level, related to the modernization of the armed forces and possible support for both countries in this regard.
“Both of our countries are changing equipment, modernizing the equipment of their armed forces. striving also to obtain and high expenditures on the modernization of the army in both of our studies. This is a field for cooperation, both industrial and within the European Union, in this way we increase the possibilities of effective use of our armed forces. Security, as everyone can see, is the key to the development of our countries, but also together with Europe’s participation.

Bilateral talks concern e.g. others The issue of support for Ukraine, attacked by Russia in the perspective of 2022. In addition, the ministers discussed the project in the Western Balkans, cooperation within NATO and the European Union, including participation in the enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) and the mission for Ukraine (Military Assistance Mission for Ukraine / EUMAM Ukraine). Some of the topics were also cooperation between the military of the two countries.
The head of the Ministry of National Defense congratulated the accession to the Schengen area, which has increased the possibilities of cooperation in cooperation with states.
“I wanted to congratulate you on joining the Schengen area. Poland has always supported Croatia for many years. At one time I was the Minister of Administration and Administration and I remember these talks on the European Union forum. You can always count on support from the Polish side. Entering the Schengen area only increased the possibilities of traveling to the country, increased the possibilities for our friendship, the fact that we are looking for what unites us. Croatia contributes to strengthening the security of the eastern flank of the North Atlantic Alliance, and the Polish and Croatian armed forces are involved in allied and European defense projects, such as the EU Battlegroup. Polish soldiers carry out training and consulting tasks as part of the PMC EUFOR mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Cooperation in the field of military education and training cooperation of special forces are also dynamic.
