TGVs departing from Luxembourg and Metz will arrive at Gare du Nord
Traffic is completely interrupted this Tuesday at the Gare de l’Est in Paris because of an “arson on electric cables” in Seine-et-Marne, indicated by a spokesperson for the SNCF.
SNCF hoped for a resumption “at 10 a.m.”, but announced that traffic would be interrupted “all day”.
No buses set up
Contacted on Tuesday, the SNCF specifies that the TGVs departing from Luxembourg or Metz will arrive at the Gare du Nord, a station close to that of the East. Passengers who had their ticket can therefore leave for Paris “normally” this Tuesday. However, this morning, not all travelers were always aware. “I had to take the TGV to get to Bordeaux. I work on construction sites on my own, explains Israrullhaq, living in Woippy. For me it’s a lost day of work. »
On the other hand, the SNCF is redeploying the transport plan for the TER and other information will be communicated during the day. The incident does not only affect travelers heading to Paris, but also to Reims for example.
No bus will be set up: “We do not have enough coaches compared to the number of travelers”, indicates the SNCF.
