The pirates left the Alliance stability. They put their necks in a noose, they evaluate the Prague decision to themselves Politics | News | Prague Gossip
The Prague Pirates withdrew from the Stability Alliance, which they formed with Prague itself after the elections. According to Mayor Zdenek Hřiba, the party is no longer an acceptable partner for STAN, and the only option for the Pirates was to resign.
The Pirates voted to withdraw from the alliance. “Unfortunately, Prague itself is an unaccepted partner both for Spolu and, more recently, for STAN. Because of this, there is now no other conceivable option to defend Prague from populists from ANO and extremists from SPD, than for the Pirates to enter the negotiations independently,” informed the mayor on Twitter Zdenek Hrib (Pirates).
However, the Pirates have two conditions to join the coalition with Spolu and STAN. “The Pirates must have sufficient tools in the city administration to push the program forward. No governor can take away their powers. The coalition agreement will be decided by the membership through the regional forum,” written by Hřib.

The Prague coalition Spolu (ODS, TOP 09, KDU-ČSL), Pirátů and STAN will be discussed by working groups in the coming days, which will deal with program questions, the distribution of tasks or the draft coalition agreement. The negotiating teams meet again next week…
Prague published a statement on its Facebook in which it respected the decision of the Pirates, but did not think it was a good one.
“The liberal camp taking advantage of modern Prague could have the power to enforce the wishes of its voters in the city’s leadership. Together we had all the trump cards. We respect the decision of the Pirates representative club, but I think that its result will not be good for Prague and the people of Prague,” it is written in the statement of the movement.
“The pirates have just stuck their necks and the necks of their voters in a noose that will tighten for four years. At the same time, they fulfilled the dream of the Prague political squires, that the Pirates and Prague would split into a coalition and an opposition,” Praha continued to herself.

The Prague coalition Spolu (ODS, TOP 09, KDU-ČSL) offered the Pirates and STAN a total of six seats in the eleven-member councils of the capital. According to the offers, there would be five seats in total, including the mayoral seat for Bohuslav Svoboda (ODS), the Pirates would have four…
“Let’s pour some clear wine: the real distribution of forces in the Council will be 7:4 in favor of the Pirates most of the time. It is clear that the STAN movement has been cooperating first with the Spolu coalition since the election. The STAN representatives unfortunately forgot about the pre-election promises of their electoral leader that he would try to preserve our coalition from the last election period and also to measure the city to a modern European metropolis immediately after the elections.” Prague commented on the events.
Together, she then took on the role of savior of the negotiations. “The Together coalition unblocked the situation in Prague with its offer. The coalition negotiations have progressed significantly and Prague is only a short distance away from the new leadership,” Spolu said on Facebook.
