Prague waiter: “I will also rob the owner of the restaurant.” The age-old trick is said to yield hundreds of thousands

It is surprising that the waiter Martin S. is talking about such serious matters. Although he does not want to publish his face, he likes to brag about what he has been through. A few days ago, PrahaIN.cz described two tricks on customers.
The article was well received, which pleased Martin. He told the critics that he didn’t care… “So what, but they also take, so they don’t make saints of themselves,” he added.
Engage in comments? He doesn’t want it, he says it’s not worth it.
As promised in time, he returned to the subject of robbing restaurant owners.
In the center of the capital, it is said to be quite easy. Only one thing is enough. So that the owner in question is not present in the establishment. “It’s more of an exception that it’s there. They usually come when they go down to confirm, but otherwise they still don’t understand,” notes Martin.
The hoax he decided to tell, to recreate again in a completely trivial idea. “Then in the morning you go and do the shopping. And that’s all,” he smiles. Don’t you understand too? We were the same way.
I’ll half-heartedly explain
“Not good. For those who are displeased with this business, I will half-heartedly explain. It is mainly done during the season, in the summer, when everywhere is full. For example, in one business on the Old Town Square, you can turn over two million in cash in a month, do you understand? You just pick a time when the owner is not there and stop selling his stock…”
Even at this point, we confess, we did not understand the alleged trick.
“One more time, okay? You go, you buy spirits, lemonades, water. Coffee only sometimes. You and the boys exchange your supplies. You leave the boss’s warehouse in stock, cough up the cash register, and go on your own. You just sell what you buy in Žabka for five thousand. Only you won’t sell it for five, but maybe fifteen thousand. You can do the same with food by agreement with the kitchen. You can easily make a hundred thousand in a day, no problem,” smiles Martin and vehemently rubs his thumb against his index finger.
It shows that there was really a lot of cash.
“You mustn’t be afraid, why would you be? The whole shift has an agreement, you share the evening. Of course, you can’t do it every day, ideally only during lunch, moreover, you can’t replace expensive wines, sparkling wines, that’s hard work, you’ll do it with the best you can. Lemonades, waters, coffee, spirits, you can find them everywhere. How much will it give me? Hundreds of thousands per season in the center,” adds the mentioned Prague waiter.

It was done, it is being done, it will be done
“It’s been happening for 15-18 years as far as I can remember. I didn’t experience the time before that, but I have no doubt that the boys behaved differently, they just had less of it,” he adds, continuing to laugh.
“Only once did the owner figure it out, just once,” he says, conspicuously biting his bottom lip. He has a reason, he doesn’t want to go back to it too much. “We got it,” he blurts out after a short hesitation.
“Otherwise, I’m not afraid, no, everything is thought out and works. Only in the morning no one must cough to buy things,” he concludes his remarkable life story.
Martin continues to work as a waiter in Prague. The season is said to be not bad, but there are a lot of Asians and Romanians who spend little. “It’s not the same, it’s not the years it used to be. We are missing rich Russians and Americans, but I think we will catch up over the summer,” he is looking forward to.
