Mark Glukhovsky has resigned from his post as Executive Director of the Russian Chess Federation (RCF). About it reported on the FSR website.
On January 23, at a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the FSR, Glukhovsky’s resignation was accepted. Members of the Supervisory Board expressed their gratitude to him.
Alexander Tkachev became the new executive director of the FSR. The decision was taken unanimously.
Glukhovsky has served as Executive Director of the FSR since 2014.
Glukhovsky was previously rated by grandmaster Sergei Karyakin, who ran in the recent FSR presidential election. In his Telegram channel, he declaredthat Glukhovsky, after the start of the special operation, “quietly left for Israel, from where, in the online protocol, he continues to manage the activities of the FSR.” After being canceled in the elections, he increase hopethat the head of the FSR Andrey Filatov changed the team and, first of all, Glukhovsky.
Also, for the preparation of the Supervisory Board, it was decided to be awarded the Gold Sign of the FSR by the first President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mintimer Shaimiev, and the President of the Chess Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan, Gennady Zakharov.
