these people seen at Sirha
Sirha is an opportunity for all professionals passionate about gastronomy to get together for a few days. And in the middle of the 70,000 m² fair and hundreds of thousands of visitors (160,000 expected over the four days), we spotted a few celebrities.
A Sirha regular, Mercotte, was once again present for this 40th edition. The “dinosaur blogger” as she calls herself and jury of the show the Best pastry chef on M6 , has been present at the show since Friday and remains there until Monday evening. She of course attended the final of the Pastry World Cup and shared his many photos on his social networks.
Another cook and TV host, Philippe Etchebest made the trip to Chassieu. The chef from Bordeaux and featured in TV programs dedicated to cooking (Top Chef, Objectif Top Chef, Cauchemar en cuisine) came for a “good time of sharing and meeting”. His former colleague from Top Chef, Michel Sarran, was also present. He was notably seen with Samuel Albert, winner of the show during season 10.
Minister, sportswoman and rapper
The Minister Delegate Olivia Grégoire, in charge of Small and Medium Enterprises, Trade, Crafts and Tourism, is also part of the party. She is taking part this Sunday in the “dinner of the great chefs” before meeting the exhibitors on Monday, the last day of the show. Also seen the triple Olympic champion, Marie José Pérec who forgot the distinction of the best dessert.
Like every year, famous chefs have come to Sirha: Thierry Marx, Pierre Hermé, Christian Tetedoie, Sébastien Bouillet, Cédric Grolet (elected best pastry chef in the world in 2017), Mauro Colagreco, Régis Marcon, Dominique Crenn. But the one we were perhaps less expecting to see at the show was Joey Starr, who was in charge of the atmosphere at the stand. Enodis France.
Microphone in hand, the one who has just released his culinary book Bistronomik FiveStarr launched into a little rap behind the stove, to the delight of visitors.
