Interest courses for adults will be held in the Strossmayerovo náměstí elementary school building from the second half of February. On offer will be language lessons or perhaps ceramics. Registration is possible until the end of January, and the lessons themselves will then start until the end of March. The price is favorable. It costs the same for all courses, 2,900 crowns.
The Prague 7 Municipal Council is preparing a joint project with Strossmayerovo náměstí elementary school for the fifth year. Interest courses will be held in the classrooms of the school, where you can register until the end of January. The courses themselves will take place from mid-February to the end of March and you can sign up at website of the City of Prague 7. “Courses are organized in two semesters, copying the school year. We started the project already in the fall of 2017,” says Martin Vokuš, press spokesman for Praha 7.
The course contains 16 lessons of 90 minutes each. People of all ages can participate. From students to seniors. Permanent residence in Prague 7 is also not a requirement. All courses are held in small groups, with a maximum of nine people, as part of teaching mediation. The lecturer can then better focus on the work of individual course participants.
The courses cost a pleasant 2,900 crowns
Those interested can choose from several types of courses. Most often, they want to learn or practice a foreign language, such as English, Spanish or French. However, you can learn the basics of Japanese, for example.
There are also plenty of creative courses on offer, such as drawing and painting, sewing or ceramics. All lessons are divided into different levels of difficulty, suitable for both beginners and advanced students. The prices of all courses are identically 2,900 crowns each, which is also 2,500 less than the language schools want “Because the project is in cooperation with the town hall and the school, we don’t have to pay a huge sum for rent, and the prices are therefore very affordable,” lecturer Petra Hejmová tells PrahaIN.cz
