Toulouse: an evening with friends turns into carnage, a person injured with a bottle and an apartment destroyed
A 30-year-old man completely lost control during an evening with friends in Toulouse on Wednesday evening. Police were called to the scene to pick him up.
Everything was going well, however, and nothing above all foreshadowed what would come next. This Wednesday evening, in the Saint-Cyprien district of Toulouse, friends meet in an apartment to party together. They are about ten guests. They drink an aperitif and the atmosphere is friendly. For no apparent reason, one of the guests literally loses control. He enters into an unheard-of anger and violence.
One of the guests of this evening receives many blows, some of which are given with a bottle. He is injured in the face but still manages to defend himself. The evening degenerates completely under the astonished eyes of the other guests and the host. Many blows are exchanged. The uncontrollable guest threatens his supposed friends with death and also attacks the furniture in the living room and kitchen. It smashes everything in its path. Seeing that the evening is turning into a disaster and to avoid a tragedy, the police are called to the scene.
Already known for violence
Quickly, the police intervene and find an apartment completely turned over with many broken objects on the ground. The individual was quickly arrested. According to the first elements collected, this man would have had a bad delirium or “bad trip” after ingesting a drug.
The 30-year-old totally denied the facts during his hearing before the investigators. However, the many witnesses present at the evening affirm that it is indeed he who launched the hostilities and who is the author of the first blows. Two complaints were filed against him, one for willful violence the other for damage to other people’s property. He is currently still at the central police station in custody. This 30-year-old is known to the courts for the same types of facts.
