The president of the PSD, Marcel Ciolacu, was in Vaslui on Friday about a series of investment projects in Moldova’s counties that will be financed in the next period, stating that efforts are being made to reduce the gaps between the regions.
Marcel Ciolacu participated in the PSD Vaslui County Conference, where certain delegates, including the former prefect of Vaslui county in the 2000-2004 government, expressed their dissatisfaction due to the fact that many of the investments in our country are directed to the Transylvania area, Moldova to suffer.
“If Sorin Grindeanu, as I know him, with the same ambitions as Corlățean, leads to the completion of the Moldova highway, I am firmly convinced that the destiny of Moldovans (…) will also change our children, grandchildren, friends, neighbors . they will no longer have to leave in such a great exodus as has happened so far. It is time for the Romanian state to come up with the right investments for this region of the country, to standardize territorial development, stated Marcel Ciolacu.
Asked who is responsible for maintaining the gaps between Romania’s regions, the PSD leader stated that solutions must be found to repair inequities and not look for culprits. “I am not one of the political people who look for culprits. I learned from the politicians with more experience inside the PSD that we have to find solutions and fix the inequities, and I think this is our goal. My purpose is not to find culprits, but to come as quickly as possible with a balance in the development of the areas’, said Marcel Ciolacu.
