Frankfurt: SEK comes from the air
Not to change with a jungle test!
SEK puts pressure on activists in the Fechenheim forest from the air
Fear of heights is not appropriate for the job: police officers use cranes to hover in trees and on a flagpole to get activists to walk.

They are hanging on cranes, high in the air: the emergency services in the Fechenheim forest require full physical exertion on Thursday. From the air, they want to drive the environmental activists out of trees and flagpoles. Also on the second day of Eviction there is massive resistance from activists. The wooded area is to be cleared so that clearing work can begin to close a gap on the 66 and 661 motorways.

After a quiet night in the remaining tree houses, the action continues on Thursday: at least four activists are still in the trees on the second day of the eviction by the SEK. One of the activists climbed over the platform of a tree house onto a flagpole – a dangerous action at a height of 25 meters!
Two SEK members approach a house in the treetops on construction cranes.

With cranes and from the air, the police had to rappel down to the activists on the flagpole and in the trees. A second activist was arrested on the second day of the eviction.(dpa/gmo)
