Cross-Channel ferry connections are paralyzed this Thursday as part of the strike day against pension reform. The port of Dover in England has warned that services to and from Calais are suspended.
P&O Ferries, which provides connections between Calais and Dover, indicates that it cannot “guarantee departure times”.
Normal operation in Dunkirk
“We will try to limit disruption as far as possible. However, if your trip is not essential, we advise you to rearrange your trip to another date,” explains the operator.
Competitor son DFDS Seaways informs for its part that “its passengers are automatically transferred from Dunkirk” where the services operate normally.
