25.8% of teachers at the Dijon Academy on strike

1:15 p.m .: 25.8% of teachers on strike in the Dijon academy
The rectorate of Dijon has communicated its figures concerning the rate of participation in the movement against the pension reform. In the Dijon academy, 25.8% of teachers are on strike (against 38.5% nationally).
In primary education, 25% of teachers are on strike (compared to 42.35% nationally), while in secondary education, 27.1% of teachers are on strike (compared to 34.66% nationally).
If we dissect the participation in the second degree: 37.57% of the staff is on strike in the colleges, 24% in the general and technological high schools and 9.7% in the vocational high schools.
1 p.m.: the prefecture asks the population to adapt its routes to Dijon
As at all events, the national police will supervise the Dijon procession. As a reminder, this one will leave from the Place de la Liberation, then will parade rue de la Liberté before spinning at Place Darcy, Place de la République, Place du 30-Octobre and, finally, Place Wilson.
12:15 p.m.: Nathalie Koenders supports the mobilization
In a tweet, the first deputy to the City of Dijon supports the inter-union mobilization against the pension reform. “The pension deficit must be dealt with in a peaceful climate with, as a priority, social dialogue and social justice”, she writes.

From 2 p.m., a demonstration will start from Place de la Liberation in Dijon. The procession will parade on rue de la Liberté before heading to place Darcy, place de la République, place du 30-Octobre and, finally, place Wilson.
Then, from 3 p.m., another demonstration will leave from Montbard, place Gambetta.
