Albi. ARL XIII victorious in Toulouse
Nice weekend for the ARL XIII with victories for the Elite and the youngest U13.
This weekend, few teams took part in matches. Thus, leisure, the rugby school, the U15 minimal and the U17 cadets were able to do their range in training and prepare for the next deadlines which will arrive very quickly.
Double trip to Toulouse for the U19 juniors and for the Elite 1 who did not experience the same fate.
As a curtain lever, the young Albigensians lost 30-16. After a decent first half that ended just four points behind, the juniors had a tough second half and couldn’t come back.
They keep their second place in the championship but could be joined by their opponents of the day who have only three points less with a game behind. It will be necessary to revive in two weeks in Mazicou by winning against the Baroudeurs de Pia in order to stay at the top of the table.
In the aftermath, the seniors had more success and won 26-20 thanks to a solid performance.
They consolidate their place in the leading quartet and remember two points behind Lézignan, third, who lost in Carcassonne this weekend.
A success that will have to be confirmed in Mazicou in two weeks against Baroudeurs de Pia in order to better prepare for the trip to XIII Limouxin, co-leader with Carcassonne.
Finally, the youngest U13s returned undefeated from the Intercomités with two great victories: 32-4 against Toulouse Olympique and 56-0 against Villefranche-de-Rouergue. Two big performances which confirm their constant efforts during training sessions.
