Russia is working on a visa-free regime with 12 countries
Russia occupies an important place in opening a visa-free regime in the Persian Gulf countries, deputy for oil and gas production in South America, said Secretary of State – Foreign Minister Yevgeny Ivanov. In total, we are talking about 12 countries.
As the deputy minister said TASS, preparation of registration of visa-free borders with Mexico, Malaysia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, Barbados, the Republic of Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Lucia. Arrangements are being worked out with Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Zambia. The duration of the visa-free stay of citizens in Hong Kong is being established from 14 to 30 days.
Citizens of more than 60 countries can enter Russia in a visa-free regime.
Consulting company Henley & Partners previously ranked Russia 49th in the world’s oil and gas passports as the 2022 visa-free travel opportunity. For a year, Russia has not received a single faction on visa-free entry of its citizens, while Russians can no longer visit Taiwan without registering a visa. As a result, 118 visa-free objects remained in the active Russian passport. Henley & Partners experts believe that the real state of affairs for Russians differs significantly from the formal one and seriously limits travel opportunities.
