Sweden came back in the second period and scored two goals. Astrid Lindeberg scored the game winner for Sweden. However, the biggest star of the night was goalkeeper Felicia Frank, who is the main reason for the home team’s continuation, as she made 37 saves.
Finland is also coming off a tough one-goal loss. In this case, the final result was 3-2 in overtime. Finland led 2-1 in the second period, but Alex Law quickly equalized for Canada. After a scoreless third, Canada made it 2-1 late in overtime and Law scored again to win the game. The game was disappointing for Finland, as goalkeeper Kerttu Kuja-Halkola made 38 saves. However, with another performance like this, Finland has much better chances for bronze.
