In the second hour of Terezia Tománková’s Party on CNN Prima NEWS, Věra Kovářová from the STAN movement, Tomáš Zdechovský from the KDU-ČSL, Radek Vondráček from ANO and Ivan David from the SPD clashed. Alluding to the results of the first round of the presidential election, Radek Vondráček embarked on a historical excursion. After Pavel won over fifty percent of the votes in Prague, Vondráček commented that Prague has always voted tendentially.
Civic candidate Petr Pavel won over 51 percent of the vote in the first round in Prague, with voter turnout in the capital at a level of 71 percent. Andrej Babiš won twenty percent of the votes in the capital. ANO MP Radek Vondráček commented on this result that “Prague has always voted tendentially”. He went back until 1946 and declared that in that first post-war year the communists won over 60 percent of the vote in Prague.
“Voting was more tendentious in large cities, it’s always been that way. In 1946, the Communist Party in Prague had over 60 percent, while here in Moravia it was 34 percent,” he dug.
He also dedicated a few words to the results in his Zlín region.
“I looked at the numbers in the Zlín Region, it is a challenge for us. We have somewhere to move in the next elections. The potential is there and hats off,” Vondráček commented on the results of the first round in the region where he comes from.
Vondráček is convinced that his party boss clearly succeeded in the first round, and no one knows where that success can stop. “The second round starts from scratch. I am very curious about it. From my point of view, Andrej Babiš exceeded his potential. No one knows where it can stop,” Vondráček trusted his boss in the fight for the Castle.
On the other hand, Zdechovský called on citizens to vote for Petar Pavlo.

“It is necessary that all those who came to support Petr Pavel in the first round also come in the second. The general is a real personality who will bring order and peace to the Czech Republic. It is necessary to activate the voters of Danuš Nerudová, Pavel Fischer and Marko Hilšer, so that Pavel,” urged Zdechovský in the Party.
Okamura’s MEP David fit in that the elections pre-election polls, which he spoke of as an evil against democracy. “This is a long-term crime against democracy. A year ago, the results of the polls were announced, which said which candidates have a chance and which ones don’t,” he was angry.
