Basel
Moving to another German-speaking city, we meet Basel, Swiss town on the border between France and Germany. As various surveys continue to demonstrate, Swiss cities have one of the highest levels of quality of life worldwide.
Basel is referred to as one pocket metropolis because it offers its citizens excellent services in a small space. Visiting it, in fact, everything can be easily reached on foot, by bicycle, by bus or by tram using a very high-level public transport.

Lisbon
For those who don’t want to give up the soleto the mare (it’s actually about the ocean) and a more general way of life Mediterranean, there is Lisbon. This city was judged the third best city in the world to live in for foreignersthanks to its now continuous and incessant growth.
The Lusitanian city represents the only Portuguese city in theExpat Cities Ranking 2020compiled by InterNations and it is there European Green Capital 2020. The title earned her for demonstrating that she is making tremendous progress on factors such as urban mobility, air quality, waste management, sustainable land use, water pollution, green growth and energy saving.
In just over a decade, moreover, Lisbon reduced CO2 emissions by 50% and reduced energy consumption by 23%, while also decreasing water consumption.
