Filming of the serial film “Fever” for the TV channel “Russia” has been completed
In Moscow, the shooting of the serial film “Fever” for the TV channel “Russia” was occupied. Lyubov Konstantinova, Evgeny Volovenko, Teresa Diuro, Ilya Malakov, Evgeny Sidikhin, Artur Vakha, Vadim Andreev and other actors met the main roles in the series directed by Alexander Kasatkin.
“Fever” is a spy story about a dangerous epidemic that breaks out in one of the developing countries of Africa. A Russian brigade of volunteers arrives to replace the international medical mission that has fled. It is joined by local infectious disease doctors and Russian genius scientists in the field of virology, who are working on the production of vaccines. An international pharmaceutical corporation is launching a real spy vaccine against Russian virologists. Heroes not only fight for their desperately saved lives, but also figure out the “mole” that has penetrated their ranks.
Filming lasted 119 shifts and took place in Moscow, Tula, Crimea and Kenya. During the entire filming process, the actors are advised and trained to work in the laboratory by qualified virologists.
Alexander Kasatkin, director:
– The series “Fever” is, of course, a fictional story, but it was filmed based on observed events – a major Ebola epidemic in Liberia and other countries of the observed events in 2014-15. An epidemic is always an extreme situation, hundreds of people meet on the verge of life and death every day, doctors save them from a dangerous virus, risking themselves … between colleagues. And that’s all, of course, in the series. This is a very multi-layered story, fascinating, exciting. Sincere: part of the filming took place in Tula, where we were very warmly received. And by chance: we also filmed in Kenya, where we were the first Russian film crew to work on a scale, with Kenyan actors, and even shooting among the inhabitants and representatives of the most famous of the Masai African tribes. The series will be really interesting to watch.
Lyubov Konstantinova:
– My heroine Polina is a virologist. Selfless, highly intelligent, sincerely dedicated person. This is the story of the emergence of so many people for their truth, for the lives of other people and, of course, for love. The series raises very important questions that are always interesting to talk about: the problems of trust, communication with loved ones, the problems of distance and relationships between people of different mindsets, dedication, constant overcoming of reflection and, of course, sympathy and kindness.
Teresa Diuro:
– In my heroine Sophia, I like her ability to self-sacrifice, courage and even impudence in some feelings. she studied in Russia, she is very fond of Russian culture, Russian medicine, and she is on the side of those who love the truth. Of course, there are love lines in the series, some ups and downs, and this is very cool. But the main thing is the feat of doctors. I found out how much epidemiologists, doctors who worked in the “red zone”, not only with Ebola, but also during the covid pandemic, sacrificed themselves. It was incredibly difficult to shoot in “full protection” suits: it’s hard to breathe, to do something, just to think. And when we worked on the road, it was also very hot. And I bow low to all doctors for what they do!.
