Spat at the Zurich Veloblitz: The management has agreed to a Tenue rental for an advertising campaign. The advertising campaign was indeed of a PR agency carried out, but the customer of this agency was none other than the city police of Zurich.

But the management didn’t reckon with the staff: Some Veloblitz employees let their frustration run wild with memes, as is proper in the 21st century.

The manager of Veloblitz, Simon Durscher, stated in an interview with watson that it was not about an appearance with the police. He specifies: “We have provided courier material to an advertising agency.”
Of course, the Drake classic should not be missing in a meme photo series. Image: zVg
This is also not the first time that Tenues has been made available to third parties. For example, rentals for feature films have already been approved, explains Durscher.

When asked why the workforce was not informed in advance, Durscher replied: “Unfortunately, we failed to ask the agency when the campaign started.”
The criticism shouldn’t come as a surprise to the manager: “We’re surprised ourselves at how the advertising agency staged the Veloblitz. I understand that not everyone enjoys it.”
