Sándor Brasói, the president of the Office of Education, talks about the fact that 90-100 thousand students will apply for higher education, so the Educatio exhibition is a good opportunity to make an informed decision. Renáta Vanó, deputy president of higher education at the Office of Education, said about this year’s new admissions: is not a central condition they apply, so that the applicant takes an advanced-level baccalaureate in at least one subject. Higher education institutions may waive this requirement.
At the end of the opening, it was announced that this year’s EFOTT will be hosted by Pannon University. The rector of the institution, András Gelencsér, said that since Veszprém is the cultural capital of Europe in 2023, culture will feature prominently at the festival.
Those enrolling this year can submit their withdrawals on February 15.
