Etienne Guyot is about to leave office: the prefect of the Upper Garonne and Occitanie will be replaced by Pierre-Andre Durand, so far prefect of the Seine-Maritime and Normandy, like the report 76news. These appointments must be formalized in the Council of Ministers this Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

The new prefect is an enarque
substitute son, Pierre-Andre Durand, was born in 1960 in Antibes (Alpes-Maritimes). Trained at the ENA, he was notably prefect of the Seine-Saint-Denisof the Dromeof the Haute-Saone and Pyrenees-Atlantiques. Early in his career, he also worked at Nice. He was also chief of staff of Christian Estrosi when he was Minister for Industry.
Large files to manage
Several major projects will await Pierre-André Durand upon his arrival in Toulouse : he will thus have to manage the future LGV, the development of the Toulouse ZFE, the relocation of the administrative city, or the future construction of the Toulouse-Castres motorway.
A great lover of Italian opera, he will no doubt be delighted with the program of the Théâtre du Capitole for this year: La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi will be performed there next April.
