News in coverings and photovoltaics will be brought by the Roofs Prague and Solar Prague fairs in February
9/1/2023
The twenty-fourth edition of the Prague Roofs fair, which will take place from 9 to 11 February 2023 at the exhibition center in Prague Letňany, will offer many current topics. The trade fair, with its traditionally high number of professional and lay visitors, takes place, as in previous years, in parallel with the Solar Prague, Řemeslo Prague and the Wood and Tools Festival.
Of course, the current energy situation will be reflected in the events of the fair. At the fair, they will have the advantage of being able to find many solutions on how to best use renewable energy sources and how to increase energy self-sufficiency. The main theme of the fair is closely related to this issue – the roof as an energy source.
The rapid increase in electricity prices and the current subsidy incentives have caused a rocket growth in the number of installations of rooftop photovoltaic power plants. At the fair, exhibitors will present hot news, new technologies and system solutions leading to significant energy savings.
Accompanying program
An extensive accompanying program of the fair will also be dedicated to energy savings. The traditional Isolation conference, this time with a non-traditional subtitle “Self-sufficiency thanks to roofs”, will focus on photovoltaics, green roofs and other systems related to roof claims. Another conference with the subtitle “The roof as a source of energy” guides listeners through existing technologies, introduces them to new trends and opportunities. The program will also focus on other topics, such as green roofs and digitization.
News and interesting things at the fair
Here we present a selection of interesting products and services that will be presented at the fair.
Czech society HEAVENS present a hot new product – a unique transparent roof system. It is the first system in the world that can turn a sloping roof into a compact transparent area with a panoramic view of the exterior and, thanks to this, ensures superior interior lighting. All this while maintaining privacy inside the buildings. The NEBESYS system is indistinguishable from ordinary roofs, yet it is different and revolutionary. There are many types of coverings to choose from. For example, prejz, beaver, bracken, but also many others. The system makes it possible to use the ground spaces in the heritage zones of the cities and thus slows down the development of the free landscape. NEBESYS provides interior ventilation with several direct systems and recuperation. Currently, the company is working on it being able to heat water as well.
Topic: Roof coverings
Energy Holding Malinawhich appears under the trade mark Raspberry group, provides complete solutions for photovoltaic power plants. The “Save energy now” program is now new. After ordering photovoltaics and signing the contract, this means for the client that until his own solar plant starts producing energy and his energy bills start to decrease, he will send money to the client’s account every month for the unproduced Malina Group energy. The company offers the most technologically advanced all-black monocrystalline panels with Half-Cell technologies, asymmetric inverters and Gen2 lithium batteries. Malina Group is the general partner of the Solar Prague 2023 fair.
Company SATJAM also has a number of novelties prepared for visitors: the square-shaped SATJAM Kwadra gutter system, the originally small-format Taurus covering in the extended large-format version SATJAM Max Taurusx, the innovation of the small-format SATJAM Taurus Modul covering or the SATJAM Rombo Metalic template. The company also organizes a free roof competition at its stand.
At the company’s stand Wienerberger will be able to visit the photovoltaic modules that won 2nd place in the E.ON Energy Globe environmental competition. Wevolt X-Tile photovoltaic modules differ from classic solar panels primarily in that they are not installed above the roof coverings, but are installed between the roof coverings. They are really unobtrusive on the roof and do not disturb the overall appearance of the roof, which will be seen on the exposed model roof. The company will also present another novelty, namely black engoba with the trade name graphene. Wienerberger is the general partner of the Roofs Prague 2023 fair.
