The municipality of Florence complies with citizens’ requests by approving the limit of 30 km per hour in five other areas. The news was given by Palazzo Vecchio

A Florence currently there are 12 “zone 30” already established. In addition to those in the city center and in the Cascine park, they can be found in the area of the Forlanini Village, in Brozzi, Castello, Poggetto, Cure, Gavinana, Galluzzo and Podestà.

In District 4: Soffiano within the perimeter made up of viale Talenti-piazza Batoni-via del Sansovino-via del Pignononcino-via Giovanni della Casa-via Pisana (included)-via di Soffiano (included)-via Piero di Cosimo (included)-via Arnoldi (included)-via del Filarete (included)-via degli Arcipressi (included)-via Giovanni da Milano (included)-viale Nenni-via Foggini; in San Bartolo a Cintoia the affected area falls within via Canova-viale Etruria-the Viaduct of the Indiano-via Simone Martini (excluded).
In District 5 the Statuto area, to be precise the area between via Vittorio Emanuele II-via XX Settembre-piazza della Costituzione-via Cosseria-the railway-via Mariti. For the expansion of that of via di Ripoli, these are the streets up to via Coluccio Salutati (excluded) and viale Giannotti (excluded).
