what awaits us this week in Dijon and Côte-d’Or
A gray, rainy sky, and temperatures too high for a Côte-d’Orient winter: this month of January, which began with record heat on January 1, looks like a month of March. And next week follows this trend with, once again, temperatures that are largely below normal for the season. The beginning of the week will however begin with a drop in temperatures, which however will not last.

On Monday, a flow from the west will bring temperatures down. However, it will not be very cold: with 8°C expected, the Côte-d’Or will simply approach the usual temperatures for the month of January, i.e. 5°C. Clouds are expected in the morning, then the afternoon should oscillate between sunny spells and showers. Sleet is expected in the upper Côte-d’Or and in the Morvan. With a westerly wind of 40 to 50 km/h, we should nevertheless, compared to the last few days, feel the freshness.
An episode of morning frosts likely on Tuesday
Tuesday morning will be much cooler. It is the only time of the week that the weather applies to what is expected of a month of January. With between 0 to 1°C in the morning, small frosts are possible in Côte-d’Or. In the afternoon, it is expected 6 ° C while the sky will be gloomy and slightly rainy.
On Wednesday, the rain will be much heavier: an active disturbance will cross the Côte-d’Or, with 10 mm of rain expected during the day according to Météonews. In terms of temperatures, a flow from the south-west should bring a marked thaw: 9°C on average in the department.
Rain for the weekend
The rest of the week promises to be rainy. Thursday, a new disturbance will cross the department: it should remember to be less intense than the day before. The wind remains light, around 30 km/h, and it will come from the south and southwest. Temperatures remain above normal for the season: 5°C in the morning, 8°C in the afternoon.
On Friday, the Côte-d’Or should return to the 10°C mark. The weather remains gloomy and unstable, with showers carried out. Saturday, rains are expected again, and the wind will strengthen with gusts between 50 to 60 km / h.
Finally, for now, the models describe a drop in temperatures next Sunday, but they will remain above seasonal norms. Small showers were expected to cross the Côte-d’Or.
