We have the 10 most expensive streets in Budapest
As is Infostart he wrote it, these include the V. district in the city center, as well as the Buda side I., II. and XII. district. In addition to these, XI. district and VI. properties also appear prominently in the district, but often the average price of a district or zip code area is pushed up by the higher housing prices of a large number of new construction projects, see IX. district case.
There are, however, particularly popular streets in each district – a Portfolio has now collected the 10 most expensive streets in the capital, where you have to pay the most for apartments.
According to the “Ingatlanadattár, Magyarországi lakárakárak, 2005-2021 publication” of the KSH, there were three streets in Budapest where apartments changed hands for more than HUF 2 million per square meter, while the last of the ten most expensive streets was close to HUF 1.5 million.
The ten most expensive streets in Budapest according to the average price of sold apartments (the amounts are rounded):
- Orom Street (I.): HUF 2.5 million/square meter
- Kossuth Lajos tér (V.): HUF 2.4 million/square meter
- Verecke staircase (II): HUF 2.3 million/square meter
- Virányos út (XII.): HUF 1.9 million/square meter
