The footballers of Budějovice were strengthened by the attacker Adediran from the second league Dukla
“He is a young and great talent, a boy very well equipped with speed and strength. I believe that he will bring us a lot of goals. We know him from Dukla, with whom he played against us in Příbram. He is an unpleasant and predatory striker,” said České Budějovice coach Tomáš Backwater.
Adediran joined the thirteenth team of the autumn part of the first league. “I’m really excited. It’s going to be a big adventure for me and I can’t wait for it all to start,” said the native of Lagos, who scored two goals in the second division in the fall.
In the past, another Nigerian, Fortune Bassey, worked in České Budějovice. Thanks to his good performances in the South Bohemia jersey, he transferred to Budapest’s Ferencváros, from where he headed for the current loan to Pilsen. “When he played for Dynamo, he played great. I hope to follow in his footsteps. Or maybe even better than him,” Adediran said.
He will travel to Turkey for a team training session later due to waiting for his visa. “He will wait until Friday at least for his exposure, so we assume that he could fly to the team on Saturday or Sunday. Therefore, he should make it to two more friendly matches,” stated the club’s sports director, Milan Čadek.
Adediran is Dynamo’s second winter signing. The South Bohemians brought in midfielder Marcel Čermák from another second division team, Příbram.
