Coupe de France: Toulouse should rotate against Lannion
The calendar which awaits Toulouse in this month of January, with four confrontations against teams in progress for the maintenance, should encourage the staff to operate a large turnover against Lannion, this Sunday.
What if it was Lannion’s luck? Currently twelfth in Ligue 1, six points behind the relegated first team, Toulouse FC is preparing to play part of its maintenance in January. An insane calendar indeed awaits the players of Philippe Montanier from this Sunday and this 32nd final of the Coupe de France.
On Wednesday, during the 18th day, the latter will travel to Auxerre (18th), before receiving Stade Brestois (17th) four days later. They will then return to the championship at the end of the month with a trip to Strasbourg (19th) on January 29 and the reception of Troyes (13th) on February 1. Four meetings against direct opponents which should have encouraged the staff of Téfécé to operate a significant turnover against the formation of National 3.
Four players absent
To this end, “Les Violets” have a rather dense group with the only absences of defender Mikkel Desler (pubalgia), midfielders Denis Genreau (pubalgia) and Kévin Keben (hamstrings) and obviously striker Rhys Healey (rupture of a cruciate ligament of a knee in August). On the other hand, Gambardella obliges, the tank of the training center will not be entirely at the disposal of Montanier.
Except surprise, therefore, the team aligned at Roudourou, this Sunday, should be adapted differently from that which beat Ajaccio, a week ago, like the eleven which will start on the lawn of the Stade Abbé Deschamps, in three days.
The probable team of Toulouse: Haug – Kamenzi, Costa, Diarra (c.), Zandén – Chaibi, Spierings, Skyttä – Begraoui, Dallinga, Birmancevic. Replacements: Dupé (left), Mawissa, Nicolaisen, Rouault, Dejaegere, Tsingaras, Van den Boomen, Onaiwu, Ratao. Trainer: P. Montanier.
