The Spartan paid for the arrival of the goalkeeper from Pilsen. Bohemians are not counting on Bačkovský, he should head north
Bačkovski’s departure was probably caused by goalkeeper Martin Jedlička, who was loaned to Ďolíček from Viktoria Plzeň after the end of the autumn season. It is a kind of memento that it was the team’s goalkeeper, who fought with Sparta several times (and mostly successfully) for the championship title, who kicked out the Letenský cadets from the Kangaroo team.
Former Czech national team representative Bačkovský has already found a new job for the youth, according to red Sport.cz he should soon head to Slovan Liberec and fight for a place with Olivier Vliegen, who played in all sixteen first league matches in the autumn. At the same time, according to the original agreement, Bačkovski’s loan at Bohemians was supposed to end in the summer of 2024, given that there will be less workload in his position for the game year, but it will come to an end now.
During his time in Ďolíček, Bačkovský played twenty league games, to which he added seven starts in the MOL Cup and three games for the third division B-team. In the current season, he played for the Kangaroos in three league matches, during which he scored ten goals. He also appeared once in the cup, when he helped win over Třinec (2:1).
The goalkeeper together with Roman Klokan in the fall was Roman Valeš, who remains in the latter, with the already mentioned and Lukáš Soukup, who will probably fulfill the role of the trio. In today’s match with Dukla B, all goalkeepers made saves after half an hour.
