Friday, January 13, 2023 at 19:00, the symphony orchestra of the “Moldova” Philharmonic from Iasi will perform a symphonic concert under the baton of conductor CRISTIAN OROȘANU at the Students’ House of Culture.
The soloists of this wonderful concert will be MARIA MARICA (violin) and CORNELIUS ZIRBO (cello), laureates of the NEW HOPE GRAND PRIX Cluj-Napoca Competition.

Johannes Brahms – Double concerto for violin, cello and orchestra in A minor, op.102
Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy – Symphony no.1 in C minor, op.11

The Symphony Orchestra and the “Gavriil Musicescu” Academic Choir, the two ensembles of the MOLDOVA Philharmonic, will hold a vocal-symphonic concert on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., at the Student Cultural Center, under the baton of conductor ADRIAN MORAR.
