Roskosmos and two Iranian companies signed memorandums related to cooperation in the field of launch services. This is stated in the message of Roskosmos, distributed today, January 5.

“As a result of the international events, conferences and exhibitions organized during the merger of Roscosmos and enterprises of the rocket and space industry, memorandums on management in the field of launch services were signed with the Iranian enterprises SAHAB and SpaceOmid.”
In December 2022, Roscosmos reported that the professional corporation took part in the 11th Iranian International Air Show. The Russian meeting held a number of meetings with Iranian counterparts and met other friendly countries.
In August last year, the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle with the Fregat upper stage, the Iranian Khayyam satellite and 16 small spacecraft was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. The Iranian spacecraft for remote sensing of the Earth was successfully launched into the target orbit.
