Spartan reserve for the rescue in the second version of the successful assistant Janoušek
Forty-seven-year-old Janoušek has been active in Sparta since 2004, with a short break in youth national selections.
He started with the youth, went through all the youth selections and also the 1992 year with later representatives Pavle Kadeřábek, Martin Frýdek, Jiří Skalák, Ladislav Krejčí and Adam Jánoš.
He also has experience in first league football, in the spring of 2019 he was an assistant to coach Zdenek Ščásny.
During the representative era of Pavel Vrba, he was an observer and analyst of the opponent of the Czech national team.
“During his career, he acquired all the prerequisites to take on the role of head coach of our B team. He combines experience from youth selections at club and national team level with knowledge of working in senior teams. The time has come for him to get an opportunity as head coach,” said Spartan sports director Tomáš Rosický.
“B has your position in the hierarchy. It’s about the development of players, ensuring the transition of talented boys to adult football, we consider it essential that he has better results in the spring and remains in the second league,” added Rosický.
“I take it as an appreciation of work and at the same time as a huge commitment,” Janouška was quoted as saying on the club’s website. “If the players are properly guided and certain demands are placed on them, I believe that thanks to this training we will be able to maintain the competition. I’m sure the boys will want to show themselves.”
