Eintracht Frankfurt: Training starts on Tuesday – Oliver Glasner and Co. get going again! | Sports
They were at the World Cup, vacationing in Dubai, New York, Senegal or the Caribbean – and have not been together as a whole group at Eintracht since November 17 (!).
But from Tuesday it starts again for the professionals at Eintracht. Full throttle in 2023!
Training starts in Frankfurt at 10 a.m. Before heading to the training camp in Dubai on Wednesday (until January 14th).
After the sensational year 2022, coach Oliver Glasner (48) already has his next goals in mind.
That’s why there is an emotional video training in the first few days, in which the team should be fully adjusted to harmony again. Especially with players like Mario Götze and Kevin Trapp, but also the Dane Jesper Lindstrøm, Glasner wants to heal the World Cup hangover after the bad performance with their national teams.
Because Eintracht is still dancing at three weddings: League, Champions League and Cup!
And Eintracht will definitely defend fourth place in the league in order to play the Champions League again in the new season.
Defense star Tuta (23) to BILD: “We want to continue playing internationally, we give everything for that! If it’s the Champions League again, it would be all the better. We need points for that and will prepare optimally for the demanding second half of the season from the beginning of January.”
Not only in the league, but also internationally, Eintracht has big plans! In the round of 16 of the Champions League comes Napoli (February 21 and March 15). The big goal is the quarterfinals. Despite the outsider role against the Italy leader.
And in the cup against Darmstadt (February 7th), the hot Hesse derby is coming up soon.
Means: live Eintracht’s title chances! Glasner will lay the foundation for a successful 2023 in Dubai starting tomorrow.
