A curious traffic accident happened on Friday evening in Karlovarská street in Prague. According to Deník, the Citroën factory vehicle did not give way to the Škoda Octavia at the intersection. When the cars collided, the citroën was wedged on the front hood of the Škoda.

The Prague firefighters therefore had to arrive at the scene with heavy equipment to extricate the stuck vehicle. As confirmed by their spokesman Martin Kravka, a rescue vehicle was called from the Petřiny fire station. Traffic had to be stopped on Karlovarská street during the recovery work. According to the spokesperson, the work lasted about ten minutes.

The collision resulted in one minor injury. Paramedics treated a woman from one of the vehicles, who was then left at the scene.
“The alcohol breath tests performed on both drivers were negative. The causes and circumstances of the accident are under investigation,” confirmed police spokeswoman Violeta Siřišťová.
