Oslo Børs in the red for the day and the year – E24
Borr Drilling, on the other hand, climbed on the last trading day of the year, after securing contracts worth three billion kroner.
Oslo Børs has closed for the last time in 2022, and the trading day was all the way in the negative track.
The main index ended down 0.73 percent.
This means that the index ended all of 2022 in the red, down 1.03 percent.
To end the year in the positive, the Main Index had to exceed 1201.43 points, with an increase of at least 0.31 percent on Friday. Finally the score was 1189.

The price of oil weakened throughout the day, but just before 3pm the price bottomed out. North Sea oil (brent spot) handles at USD 84.40 per barrel as after the stock market closes. That’s up 0.88 percent since midnight.

Borr Drilling secured contracts
The Trøim company Borr Drilling reported on Friday morning that the company has entered into new contracts for two of its jack-up rigs. The total revenue from the contract is 309.5 million dollars, equivalent to three billion kroner.
The contract increases Borr Drilling’s order book by around 2,030 days, excluding option periods, the company writes.
Borr Drilling is a clear winner on the stock market on Friday, and the rise has accelerated throughout the day.
The share ended up 10.52 percent.
Decline in Europe
In Europe, the most important stock exchanges are characterized by Friday. The Frankfurt stock exchange is down around one percent. In London and Paris, the stock exchanges fall around 0.8 percent.
It is also reduced on the other stock exchanges in the Nordics at the time of writing, with the exception of a marginal increase on the Copenhagen stock exchange.
In the United States, Wall Street was up on Thursday evening. All three trend-setting indices ended yesterday significantly higher, but the technology index Nasdaq fared best. The index climbed 2.59 percent.
The last trading day of the year has kicked off in the US, where all three indices are in negative territory so far.
In Asia, there has been an increase on the most important exchanges on Friday morning, after the never-so-small party night on the Nasdaq. The Shanghai stock exchange leads the way with a rise of 0.5 percent.
