The night connection from the airport to Tuchoměřice ends, the connection between Mělník and Prague during peak hours will be strengthened.
The organizer of the Prague Integrated Transport (PID) Ropid presented a set of permanent changes to the timetables, which will come into effect mostly on January 3. These are minor modifications on selected suburban day lines and PID night lines. The night connection between Václav Havel Airport and Tuchoměřice (line 955, which has been out of service since December 12) will disappear from the list of routes. On the contrary, there will be an expansion of the Komořany night service.
During the morning rush hour, bus lines 326 and 327 from Jesenice and Vestka will operate, and bus lines 349 and 369 between Prague and Mělník will also be strengthened in the morning and afternoon. Connections are also being modified at Voticka as part of the fine-tuning of millet changes in connection with the new concept of railway transport in the area.
The previously announced traffic restrictions apply until February 12, the so-called half-holiday operation. At peak times, the intervals will be extended by 1 to 2 minutes. Metro lines will have an extended interval of approx. 8% during peak hours, tram lines will run at intervals of 10 minutes or backbone tram lines 9, 17 and 22 at an interval of 5 minutes. For selected bus lines, the intervals during peak hours are extended by 1 to 2 minutes. Metro lines will have a unified interval of 7.5 minutes throughout the day on Saturdays and Sundays. Metro line C will have an interval of 6 minutes during the busiest weekend period.
