New puzzle for Tudor after Toulouse?
This Thursday evening was a festive evening for the Marseillais. After a long period marked by the winter World Cup in Qatar, Ligue 1 resumes its rights for OM to the delight of the Vélodrome stadium. Totally crushing Toulouse, the Marseillais are still relaunching debates concerning the starting lineup.
After a dominated first period although more balanced, the Toulouse team totally cracked facing the incessant attacks of Olympique de Marseille in the surface of Maxime Dupé. 6 goals to 1, such is the final score of this thrilling encounter for the Olympian supporters, delighted to see their starting players and their substitutes taking part in the celebration. In two positions in particular, two less expected players stood out.
Two important choices for Tudor
In view of the context of recovery, as well as the weak adversity opposed by Toulouse in this match, it seems difficult to draw definitive conclusions around OM and their choices for the future. However, the victory was achieved thanks to strong individuals such as Kolasinac, author of a nice but before its release, and author of a very serious match as a whole. If the Bosnian seemed to have taken the measure of the game, and with an advantage in the mind of the Croatian coach, Nuno Tavares was the author of a more measured entry into play but scored a superb but in the second half. The two men with different profiles could both be used in the second half of the season against different opponents.
In attack, the debate seems eternal. Behind an Alexis Sanchez once again author of a serious match, Bamba Dieng made a very good entranceauthor of a superb strike in the second half close to the goal, and initiator of the penal duty scored by OM.
After this match, the Marseillais are reassured in view of a second part of the season which promises to be intense, while Igor Tudor will make the choices expected at the end of this part, starting this weekend.
