“The Zurich thriller”: Two new cases are in the can
In September, Christian Kohlund and Ina Paule Klink solve their latest cases in the first, but supplies are already on the way. In the Swiss metropolis, two films by the two emotional cases with some tricky twists
.
In “Borchert and the murder without atonement” the lawyer without a license and his head of office take on a complicated case. Years ago, the daughter of Hans Siegenthaler (Thomas Huber) became the victim of a violent crime. However, the alleged perpetrator was acquitted in a criminal trial – and no one can be charged twice for the same crime. But now new evidence has surfaced. Nevertheless, Bernadette Schanz (Melissa Anna Schmidt), a businesswoman from an entrepreneurial family, emphatically defends herself against being defamed as a murderer.
A fatal bachelor party is the stumbling block in “Borchert and the Trace of the Stones”. In it, the diamond dealer Xavier Schliemann (David Rott) wakes up in a hotel room. Next to him: his shot business partner Nikol. But Schliemann does not turn himself in, instead looking up his childhood sweetheart from student days: Dominique Kuster (Klink). While the head of the law firm believes Schliemann, Borchert (Kohlund) doubts the man’s story. Nevertheless, he moves the mandate and tries to find out whether Schliemann has made dangerous enemies by trading in artificial diamonds.
Also back in the new cases are Pierre Kiwitt as Captain Marco Furrer, Robert Hunger-Bühl as Dr. Reto Zanger, Susi Banzhaf as law office assistant Regula Gabrielli, Yves Wüthrich as Furrer’s colleague Urs Aeggi and Kathleen Gallego Zapata as judge Marie-Louise Mildenberger. Both cases are directed by Connie Walther, the books are by Robert Hummel and Rainer Ruppert. “Der Zürich-Krimi” is produced by Graf Film in co-production with Mia Film on behalf of ARD Degeto.
