So, the citizens of Republic of Moldova they will have to apply for a special visa created for the European Union and pay a fee of 7 euros. The measure will come into force from November 2023 and applies to people aged between 18 and 70.
According to the explanation given by The European Commission, the purpose of the measure is to strengthen border security. Moreover, digital monitoring of tourists entering and leaving member countries is also being pursued.

“The national program for teaching the Romanian language to non-native speakers was expanded to include courses for adults, and in the budget for 2023 there were 10 million lei for this purpose. In the coming years, we will expand the program to better cover the needs of teaching the Romanian language to adults”, said the leader from Chisinau.
It sent a separate message on its social media page, in which it emphasized that the Government would adopt a decision that would clarify the details of this program.

He stated that in the following years the Chisinau authorities will expand the program to better cover the needs of teaching the Romanian language to adults.
The Romanian language teaching program for non-native speakers was launched in 2013, at the initiative of the Ministry of Education. Earlier this year, the program was insufficiently funded and only provided for the organization of Romanian language courses for children.
