ISTANBUL – Yemeksepeti has mapped out the soup map of Turkey.
According to the structuring of the company, Yemeksepeti has published the statistics of Turkey’s most popular soups with the data of the last 4 years. The results compiled from the orders of Yemeksepeti member restaurants, according to the types of the most preferred soups, residence, season, the drinks they serve and the price scale, revealed remarkable results.
According to the 2022 results of Yemeksepeti member restaurants, lentil soup ranked second with an average price of 22 TL, after ezogelin soup, the most affordable soup with an average price of 21 TL. Highland soup took the third place in the most affordable soups championship with an average price of 23 TL.
The soup with the highest average price was Beyran soup with 53 TL. After the Beyran soup, which is the third most ordered soup, the Southeast administration took the second place with the village chicken soup with an average price of 51 TL and the third place with the salted soup with 48 TL.
It also draws attention to the perspective of summer and winter cuisine among the preferred soups due to seasonality. While the summer school buttermilk soup soup has become one of the most popular orders, the rising star of the winter months has been fish soup.
