Section 5 | Les grandes équipes
Tie Sunday 25 December
After Glimt both surprised and impressed in Europe in the winter came the brutal everyday life when the Eliteserien started up again. The bad trend and the period for the All Yellows peaked with a disappointing performance in the cup final against Molde in Oslo in May. While Aspmyra got new artificial grass, Glimt traveled to Denmark for a training camp to find himself again. Beinhard working on the training field was the salvation and the start of a fantastic journey both in the Eliteserien and in Europe.

Section 4 | A troubled start
Tie Sunday 18 December
In the fourth episode, we travel back to the troubled start to this year’s season. Glimt started well with a couple of important victories at the very beginning of the series, but then the all-yellows from Bodø met with adversity, but despite the results in the matches, we got to experience a celebration in the capital that we have not had a share in since 2003. Glimt turned back to the cup final at Ullevaal, but there the northerners got to experience what Molde was capable of for the first time this year.
But could a training camp in Denmark be the solution?

Section 3 | Those are good to have
Tie Sunday 11 December
2022 was also the year of the supporters. It started with a crash in Glasgow in February and ended with a single big yellow wall at Marienlyst in its series round in November. In the meantime, away field after away field was filled with bright yellow fermentations that have left their mark on the stands, regardless of where they have been. A united Aspmyra sings in chorus, and both in the capital, in Trondheim and abroad, the Glimt supporters have turned up in droves. They have garnered international recognition and now they have been nominated for the prestigious award “Nordlending of the Year”.

Section 2 | Thanks for now, Europe
Tie Sunday 4 December
The second episode is devoted entirely to the double match against Roma in April. When José Mourinho thought he had put the finishing touches on the all-yellows from Bodø, Hugo Vetlesen appeared and made sure that football Europe once again caught the eye of Bodø/Glimt. But the joy was short-lived, because in the players’ tunnel after the end of the match there was noise and a marked Glimt layer was troubled in the time that followed.

Section 1 | Football party on the continent
Tie Sunday 27 November
In the first episode, we’ve gone back to some of the most sickening and hysterical experiences we’ve had together this year. In front of 50,000 at Celtic Park, Glimt put all the predictions to shame and secured an incredible starting point ahead of the second leg a week later. The war in Ukraine broke out and marked one of ours, while Glimt went to the final final of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

A long, content-rich, hectic and exciting season is behind us and most people have started to look ahead. Looking forward to Christmas, holidays, a new year and new opportunities. In a few months, it will be loose again when Glimt plays the play off in the UEFA Europa Conference League against Polish Lech Poznan.
But that does not mean that it is not allowed to reminisce and that we have been through this year. 2022 has been a very special football year for us who are happy in Glimt. It started unusually early with European matches already in February. Eventually, both series and cup came into the picture and eventually Glimt ended up playing 56 games this season. A number few other teams can measure up to.
While we wait for what is to come, we use the time to enjoy what has been. Lately we have been working on a mini-documentary series that captures every single moment in 2022. From Glasgow, via Roma, Ullevaal, Zagreb and London, we finally end up with a heidundrane party in Drammen.
