Russia fundamentally will not supply oil prices dictated by the West
Moscow will look for new markets and develop new logistics routes, regardless of manufacturer, specialized minister
Russia in principle will not supply oil at Western prices, Moscow will look for new markets even with rising costs, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said, RIA News.
“We will not supply oil under contracts where price limits will be indicated, which are returned to Western countries. This is out of the question,” Siluanov said in an interview with the Arab TV channel Asharq News, answering a question about the details of the Russian response to the introduction of prices for Russian oil.
The minister points out that “according to the forecasts of the agencies, it will grow.” Moscow will look for new markets and develop new logistics routes, regardless of the manufacturer.
“The fundamental position is that we will not allow our main energy resources to be supplied at some prices that Western countries will set, this will not happen. Here the dictates of users, but market procedures, because today it is the signing of a subscription in relation to Russian owners. tomorrow Western countries will introduce prices for other manufacturers. Thus, we cannot agree,” Siluanov said.
