«Dear Ari.
Today we celebrated you. You were supposed to be 50 years old today. We should have brought muffins on the bed while singing the birthday song in the morning.
Later we should have toasted you, made speeches for you, laughed and danced while talking about serious things, philosophical things, funny things and everything in between. We can’t do that.”
“Nevertheless, we gave you muffins on the grave and sang the birthday song so loudly for you that you must have heard it far past the Pearl Gate. Just wanted to say that we are thinking of you and that you had been very proud of our children, as you were when you held them close to you as only you could.”
Our thoughts today go out to the family and everyone who was close to Ari Behn. We will never forget you.
