The city is planning a joint meeting with the Railway Administration, the aim of which will be to discuss the current situation and possible remedies.
The reconstruction of the damaged viaduct requires the preparation of project documentation, followed by further administrative steps. “In any case, our effort is to shorten the exclusion of the track to Jihlava for as short a time as possible. A temporary solution may also be the so-called closing of the pillars, so that we can use them as normally as possible. However, without a diagnosis of the bridge, it is difficult to estimate at the moment how we will proceed. ” said SŽ spokesman Jan Nevola today.

All trains will run through the main station over the Christmas holidays as traffic is significantly lighter, as will the weekend of 31st December and 1st January.
